Markee has a degree in Theatre and Music from the University of San Diego, California and loves the concept of mixing the formality of the classical voice with the hard and mechanical aspect of the musical saw.

She has always been interested in odd instruments, so it was no wonder that the saw captured her heart. Markee recently won the Premier award at the Glasgow Music Festival, and is currently appearing with Glasgow's Britannia Panopticon and Frankensteins Rocky Horror Night.
